About our Production Sale For 21 Years we have managed to have a very successful Production Sale. This is mostly due to the fact that we always offer all our animals just off the natural veldt.  What you see is what you get, and in most cases you even get much better. Our aim has always been to offer superior genetics and not poor producing, fat animals that have just been fed to look good. Not just buyers, but also many other Sheep and Cattle lovers, flock to LaRochelle once a year in February for the Annual Production Sale. This very prestigious sale does not only receive record prices but also provides commercial breeders the opportunity to acquire superior genetics off the veldt at reasonable prices. For next year’s sale all performance figures, like always, will again be available, even for our new breeds. All friends, buyers, sheep and cattle lovers and any other interested parties are most welcome to attend our annual production sale. We continuously strive to make it a memorable day and offer you the opportunity to meet the who’s who of sheep and cattle breeding. I am convinced that any livestock farmer in South Africa will find at least one of the breeds we offer to be the best for him to farm with under his specific conditions, as they are undoubtedly the most profitable breeds of their kind in South Africa.   Production Sale 2007 Baie dankie aan die talle kopers wat ons produksie veiling bygewoon het.  Ons vertrou dat julle die dag geniet het en baie eerlik behandel was. SALE DATE:  12 FEBRUARY 2008   Farm Sales Rams and Ewes both of Meatmaster and Afrino breeds are also made available for sale on farm from August to October and then again from January to March. Bear in mind however that our best breeding stock during this time will be placed on our Production Sale. Young Bulls, cows and Heifers are also available on the Farm throughout the year especially from August through to November. The best are however kept for our production sale in February.   Embryos and Export We have been fortunate to sell many embryos over the years to various international clients seeking good genetics from the breeds we farm with. We know the embryo business very well and are in an excellent position to give any buyers the best advice possible. We not only farm with South Africa’s most Productive and Profitable Breeds, but we also go to great lengths ensuring that we own the very best Genetics available of these Breeds. Because we realize that importing embryos is very expensive, we have a very good record keeping system. This enables us to help prospective buyers select just the very best superior genetics available. The proof of this can be seen in the way our sheep dominate Meat Merino, Afrino and Meatmaster breeding in countries like Australia. The success they achieve is not just due to the good genetics but also to the support we give all buyers of our embryos. We will continue to help clients such as Bruce and Debbie Nulty, Scott and Tania Jeffries from South Australia who bought our SAMM stud genetics. We also wish them the very best in the future.  We support them throughout regarding both their breeding and selection programmes. On the Afrino side we support Evan and Ruth Maddock from Mukinbudin, Western Australia with their Afrino breeding. The partnership we have with them is moving from strength to strength. We flushed our first Afrino ewes in 2005 and should be having some Rams for sale annually.  We continue to give advice and offer help to all SAMM, Dorper, Damara and Afrino Breeders who acquired their Genetics from us. We have however also offered our Services and expertise to Government Officials, Marketing Agents and all Farmers and parties concerned in the promotion of our South African Breeds. We will continue to jealously protect the good name of Clynton Collett Superior Genetics. We realize that our Client Support over many years has not been due to the fact that we have the best genetics but mainly due to the fact that we have treated all clients with honesty and integrity.
